Most foreign nationals need a visa for visiting Belarus.
The exceptions are:
- Argentina (up to 90 days)
- Armenia
- Azerbaijan
- Brazil (up to 90 days)
- Cuba (up to 30 days)
- Georgia
- Israel (up to 90 days in each period of 180 days)
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Macedonia (an invitation/telegram, referral/invitation of the healthcare institution or invitation letter of travel agency is required, as well as for visiting the burial places)
- Moldova
- Montenegro (up to 30 days)
- People's Republic of China (30 days but no longer than 90 days within one calendar year)
- Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China – up to 30 days in each period of stay
- Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China – up to 30 days but no longer than 90 days within one calendar year
- Qatar (up to 30 days
- Russia
- Serbia (up to 30 days)
- Tajikistan
- Turkey (up to 30 days)
- the United Arab Emirates (for private and tourist purposes up to 90 days from the date of entry within 180 days (half a year)
- Ukraine
- Uzbekistan
- Venezuela (up to 90 days)
Foreign nationals do not need a Belarusian visa to visit:
- Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park (for up to three days and with a valid permit);
- Augustow Canal Tourism and Recreation Park and Grodno.
